Yesterday we showed you how to steal Lady GaGa’s unique style, so today we thought it was only fair to give you a few pointers on how to nick her beauty look too.
Along with her outlandish fashion sense and crazy love of magic knickers, Lada GaGa has also made hugely false eyelashes and hair extensions popular again.
She’s a gorgeous girl who clearly loves to experiment with her look and that’s what we love about her. The OTT lashes are just the start, as she’s been spotted in funky sunglasses and massive bow headwear too.
Lady GaGa also has a very clear stage persona that she plays up to when she’s out and about, but underneath all that make-up she takes care of her skin just like anyone else.
Could you imagine going to sleep with those false eyelashes still on? Chances are you’d wake up with them still cemented to your eyes, or remnants off them left all over your bed instead.
When she does wear her feathered false lashes, she tends to keep the rest of her beauty look very simple, choosing a pale pink lipstick to compliment her crazy eyes.
To get her look, start off with a good moisturising foundation that will stay in place for hours and won’t dry your skin out quickly. Try Olay Complete Touch Of Foundation, in Medium, £7.49.
Next, turn your attention to your eyes, as this will be the main focus of your look . Pick out some feathered eyelashes (Shu Uemura, Feather False Lashes, £25.00) and follow the instructions to applying them, making sure to wipe off any excess glue quickly before it sets in place.
Once you’re happy with the style and shape of your lashes, gently start applying volumising mascara (Mememe Voluptuous Mascara 1, £4.85) to your natural lash, working your way up into your newly applied false lashes.
The idea is work them into your look naturally, so they at least blend with your natural lash line, despite obviously not being your own!
Next apply eyeliner (Maybelline Linermatic Black Eyeliner Pencil, £3.42) to your lower and top lids, paying particular attention to the corner of the eyes where you want achieve a thicker edge.
Lady GaGa tends to use white eye shadow on the top lids of her eyes to make the feather lashes stand out more, so opt for a really pure shade of white, when you’re replicating her look. (2True Dazzlers Shade 2 Eye shadow Glitter White, £1.91)
